Scouring the internet to keep the Metalheads entertained over the weekend. Saturday has loads going on including the return of Snuff Fest which ironically most of us thought was dead. The Dev in Camden has a DJ night on Friday but back to live bands for Saturday and Sunday. Tales of Perdition are opening for Grace Hayhurst on the 26th which promises to be an exciting one. Being told all day that the weather outside is nice but I'm only looking at indoor things to do. Last week I only managed to make it to Saor at the Underworld. I didn't post any pictures as I didn't get many decent ones thanks to my phone/camera being shit. Managed two gigs on Saturday. First was the Haunted Echoes fest at LVLS in Hackney Wick which brought together ‘artists across the darker edges of heavy and atmospheric music.’ There had been a reshuffle of the line up due to Hades Labyrinth not playing but managed to get there for Cryogenica, Deity and Devilry with The Silent Era closing the first half before the intermission. If it wasn’t for another gig I would have stuck around for the second half as I wanted to catch Æi Feirlen. Oldnewschoolwaveheavymetal traditionalists Tempest Saint headlined the Fiddlers Elbow in Camden with support from Vile Plume and Tales of Perdition. My neck was a little fucked after that one. Pictures didnt really come out the way I hoped even after editing hence they look crap, not that bands.
