London Gig Guide 01/05/26
Last weekend saw me ambling in a semi ‘with it’ state back and forth to the Dev in Camden. All the bands were awesome and finally got to see Burnt Chapter who I keep missing. They played in an intense set joining Symbyote as future household name for Extreme Metal. Halberd brought the T h rash with Thrash Mob and Heart Ripper opening with his one-man Death Metal barrage. Thrash Mob were fun and really embrace the old school style with riffs, and drum and guitar solos . 1986 on the Sunday ended the weekend with their Hardcore influenced Death Metal. Hearing them play Black Mirror live was a highlight. A lot going on this weekend especially with Incineration taking over Camden on Saturday . I’m not going but at the moment I cant decide what to do instead . Thinking about hitting two gigs so I can catch Grifter and Karnivrous in Holloway then leg it/limp/stumble...
