W hilst  my personal life currently in  tatters,   it's  been difficult to get my head together long enough to get a blog together. But its Friday,  I'm  suspended from work till fuck knows when so,  going to  hyper focus on this for a  bit. There are three straight nights of  Thrash/ Deathcore / Hardcore /Death Metal   at the Dev .  Symbyote  are playing  Friday and Sunday  supporting 1986  with vocalist Dan’s other band the Slaughtering  with whom he plays guitar. Saturday  will be Thrash heavy with   Halberd   and  the aptly named  Thrash  Mob  along with one man battering machine Heart Ripper .  And  that's  just the Dev... As usual I may have missed a gig or two but feel free to give me a nudge if you know of something even if  it's  a few weeks from now.  Just  in case  someone is  actually reading  this Deity and...

London Gig Guide 08/04/26    Posting late as   I’ve  been  dealing with issues at work. Well, reposting late  as I did initially start this on Tuesday and was going to update as I went but, a troublesome  demon  stuck its head up my  arse  and been dealing with  that  monstrosity; this is not a reference to hemorrhoids.    Another reason for posting  is  for my usual shout for  promoters  and bands to reach out with upcoming shows I may have missed or  not  yet know about. For  example ...   I popped in on the London Metal Coalition Beer Hang at  Werewolf  Brew the other night and got talking to a guy from   Karnivrous  who was stressing a bit over a gig they have  coming  up that  isn't   selling  well  at the moment .  That's  at Nambucca on 2nd May with Grifter and Perpetual Paradox, tickets £12 via  Skiddle . I...

I'm posting this late as it took me longer to bother put it togther and finish it due to work kicking my arse and life in generla. I still incuded the Thursday lisitngs becuase I feel just mentionting these bands is relevant. I went to the Mastiff gig last night at Blondies. If you've never been there its a very small initmate setting for gig where the bands play right the entrance, so the security guy had to wait to let people in between songs resulting in a walk of shame. WhenI arrived there was someone struggling to get in as they didnt have their ID, I tried to assist but the security dude was just doing his job. They eventually got in and had interesting chat with them. They gave a copy of me a copy their zine called A Zine About Anti-Ableism and reminded me that Shooting Daggers are playing this weekend.   As for the rest of this long Ishtar weekend, fuck me theres a lot to choose from. So dont wallow at home shoving fistfulls of chocolate in your face. The London Metal ...
