Silent Echoes Fest @ LVLS/Tempest Saint @ The Fiddlers Elbow 07/03/26

Managed two gigs on Saturday. First was the Haunted Echoes fest at LVLS in Hackney Wick which brought together ‘artists across the darker edges of heavy and atmospheric music.’

There had been a reshuffle of the line up due to Hades Labyrinth not playing but managed to get there for Cryogenica, Deity and Devilry with The Silent Era closing the first half before the intermission. If it wasn’t for another gig I would have stuck around for the second half as I wanted to catch Æi Feirlen.

Oldnewschoolwaveheavymetal traditionalists Tempest Saint headlined the Fiddlers Elbow in Camden with support from Vile Plume and Tales of Perdition. My neck was a little fucked after that one.
Pictures didnt really come out the way I hoped even after editing hence they look crap, not that bands. They all looked and sounded as great as you’d expect from Deity and Devilry’s glowing fairy wings to Tales of Perdition bassist Jamie’s looming presence falling into an exhausted heap, The Silent Era’s Gothic Post-Rock to Vile Plume's retro 90s vibe.

If you’re reading this and feeling a little clueless then go and check these bands out on the various streaming platforms and Bandcamp.
