Seriously going to smash someone’s face in with a brick if they tell m how more ‘sleeps’ till fucking Xmas, when Im counting how many gigs there are left before everything shuts down for a week. The only saving grace next will be the Consumed/Halberd gig coming up at the Cart and Horses on the 28th.

Wednesday – Orange Goblin play their final show at the 02 Kentish Town. Support comes from Grand Magus and Urne

High energy Hard Rock at the Black Heart, Camden with Fury. Support comes from Hekz and Tales of Time

Thursday 

Swallow the Sun tickets dont seem to be flying out the door as they’re literally giving them away. Catch them tomorrow at the O2 Islington with Saturnus and Opiad

New Cross Inn has your usual dose of Hardcore. Neversaid are supported by Tethered, Hearing Tests and Kill the Snitch.

My old stomping ground the Fighting Cocks in Kinsgston are hosting another New Blood Night for unsigned bands. This time they have Avicide, Karniverous and Solis.

Friday

London Metal Valkeries presents Freeze of the Valkeries at the Dev in Camden with Cariad, Paint Me Crimson, Iman and Symbyote.

Tuskmas at the Black Heart with Tusk, Verminthrone and an band who’s still to be announced.

Saturday

Deity and Devilry play the Beehive in Bow, East London with support from Lost Asylum and Escapist 

Metal Horde Zine are hosting a night at the Dev with Arkham Witch, Toledo Steel, Flamebearer and Chernobyliser – Free entry

Quirky Thrash Metal from Evil Scarecrow @ the Dome, with Metal author/journalist/comedian Andrew O’Neil
Black Heart xmas bash with cover bands Blax Abbath and Beyond Priest, you can probably work them out by their names.

Contract Killer are playing a Crustmass Gathering at Helgi’s, Mare Street in Hackney. Further Crusty support comes from System of Slaves and Sewer Trench

Scouring the internet to keep the Metalheads entertained over the weekend. Saturday has loads going on including the return of Snuff Fest which ironically most of us thought was dead. The Dev in Camden has a DJ night on Friday but back to live bands for Saturday and Sunday. Tales of Perdition are opening for Grace Hayhurst on the 26th which promises to be an exciting one. W hilst  my personal life currently in  tatters,   it's  been difficult to get my head together long enough to get a blog together. But its Friday,  I'm  suspended from work till fuck knows when so,  going to  hyper focus on this for a  bit. There are three straight nights of  Thrash/ Deathcore / Hardcore /Death Metal   at the Dev .  Symbyote  are playing  Friday and Sunday  supporting 1986  with vocalist Dan’s other band the Slaughtering  with whom he plays guitar. Saturday  will be Thrash heavy with   Halberd   and  the aptly named  Thrash  Mob  along with one man battering machine Heart Ripper .  And  that's  just the Dev... UK Death Dealers Present in association with London Metal Coalition: The Road to London Metal Pride. Signiture Brew, Haggerston 06/12/25

Gay Pride 2025 was the first ever London Metal Pride event, celebrating queer musicians in the scene. The Metal and Hardcore scenes have seen rise in non-binary, queer and trans folk in recent years so having a stage during the summers biggest LGBTQ+ event is as integral now as ever before. The event in 2025 was hosted by LMC member and Davghter Front-woman Izzy and showcases queer and queer aligned bands battling for a place for the 2026 London Metal Pride. Five bands compete (was six but one pulled out) with London True Trans Black Metal band Davghter as special headliners. But it’s the punters who will decide the outcome as each have been given a voting chip to be placed in ballot boxes after the fifth band finished. Opening contenders Scene It All delivered some punchy late 90s/early 00s nostalgic Emo Pop Punk.
