The Black Heart has the answer to the mid-January blues/frustration with a free Hardcore gig. Ikhras headlinenwith supports from Stingray, Scab, Landmine and Lost Cause – Free Entry from 7pm
16/01/26:
New Cross Inn plays host to the annual Reality Unfolds Hardcore fest. Three days of unrelenting Hardcore, Metalcore, Screamo and Emo including Arcangel, Your Demise (2004), Rescue Cat, Believe in Nothing, Colin of Arabia, Casket Feeder, XapothecaryX, Crowquil, Boneflower amongst many many others – Weekend and day tickets available through Pit Live.
Back in Camden at the Black Heart Shoegazing Post Black Metalers Æl-fierlen. Support comes from Cruel Mother and Birdwitch - £10 from Dice
17/01/26:
At the Underworld in Camden Aeturnus celebrate four decades of darkness with support from the Black Moriah, Phantom Fire and Nordjevil - £35.53 on Dice
Last time Paleface Swiss played London there was a tube strike, and given that a 30 minute journey was taking up to three hours most Londoners weren’t prepared to risk it. So, when they play the Troxy on the 17th hopefully London will be strike free. The cursed ones will be suported by Stick to Your Guns and Static Dress. Tickets on Dice for £39.44
22/01/26:
Raven Records in Camden will host a listening party for Urne’s new album Setting Fire to the Sky. There will be multiple plays on the night where the album can be pre-ordered and pick up some limited merch.
23/01/26:
The London Metal Coalition are back at the Signiture Brew, Black Horse Road for another Battle of the Brew. This time around they have four Thrash Metal bands with Thrasherwolf headling and support from Soldiers of Rage, Halberd and Day 40. Free entry
24/01/26:
Deity and Devilry are back this time supporting Opensight for their album launch night. Thrashers Fracture Point and Symphonic Metallers Hemlock also supporting. Tickets £8.80 on We Got Tickets
27/01/26:
Mutagenic Host headline the Black Heart. No supports announced yet but expect brutality. Tickets are £15 on Dice. They’re also playing in Newcastle at the Lubber Fiend the day after with Jaundice, Dissent, Inhuman Suffering and Ceaseless Hunger. Tickets are on Fatsoma for £10.
