I know we’re all thinking ‘fuck this fucking heat’ but there’s still a weekend of gigs to get involved with, where the fucking World Cup isn’t hijacking everything. I hope this weekends match is the one that knocks England out so the rest of us can get back to normal.

Scouring the internet to keep the Metalheads entertained over the weekend. Saturday has loads going on including the return of Snuff Fest which ironically most of us thought was dead. The Dev in Camden has a DJ night on Friday but back to live bands for Saturday and Sunday. Tales of Perdition are opening for Grace Hayhurst on the 26th which promises to be an exciting one. W hilst  my personal life currently in  tatters,   it's  been difficult to get my head together long enough to get a blog together. But its Friday,  I'm  suspended from work till fuck knows when so,  going to  hyper focus on this for a  bit. There are three straight nights of  Thrash/ Deathcore / Hardcore /Death Metal   at the Dev .  Symbyote  are playing  Friday and Sunday  supporting 1986  with vocalist Dan’s other band the Slaughtering  with whom he plays guitar. Saturday  will be Thrash heavy with   Halberd   and  the aptly named  Thrash  Mob  along with one man battering machine Heart Ripper .  And  that's  just the Dev... UK Death Dealers Present in association with London Metal Coalition: The Road to London Metal Pride. Signiture Brew, Haggerston 06/12/25

Gay Pride 2025 was the first ever London Metal Pride event, celebrating queer musicians in the scene. The Metal and Hardcore scenes have seen rise in non-binary, queer and trans folk in recent years so having a stage during the summers biggest LGBTQ+ event is as integral now as ever before. The event in 2025 was hosted by LMC member and Davghter Front-woman Izzy and showcases queer and queer aligned bands battling for a place for the 2026 London Metal Pride. Five bands compete (was six but one pulled out) with London True Trans Black Metal band Davghter as special headliners. But it’s the punters who will decide the outcome as each have been given a voting chip to be placed in ballot boxes after the fifth band finished. Opening contenders Scene It All delivered some punchy late 90s/early 00s nostalgic Emo Pop Punk.
